The local Christmas market

Na Kampě by Charles Bridge in the Lesser Town.

Open from December 3, 2025, to January 4, 2026. Opening hours 10:00-20:00. Just a few minutes walk from our house

The main Christmas markets

Staroměstské náměstí and Václavské náměstí, across the river.

Open daily from November 29, 2025, to January 6, 2026, including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

The two squares are a short walk over the Charles bridge and the two markets are within 5 minutes walk from each other.

Opening hours are 10:00-22:00. Food and drinks till midnight.

Our favorite market

Náměstí Míru

Open from November 20 to December 24, 2025 between 10:00 and 20:00. You can take tram 22 from Malostranské náměstí to easily get there and explore the surroundings of Vinohrady or continue the stroll towards Tylovo náměstí where is yet another market.

Open from November 26 to December 24, 2025 between 10:00 and 19:00. Short walk from Náměstí Míru above.

Náměstí Jiřího z Poděbrad

Open from November 29 to December 23, 2025 between 8:00 and 18:00. Another great smaller market easily accessible by Metro line A

Prague Castle

Prague Castle decided not to continue with Christmas markets this year and there is the Christmas Stroll that you can see here and Advent Carolling every Advent Sunday and more details are to be seen here.
